Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using the Hokianga Community Gym website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use our services.
Membership
Membership at Hokianga Community Gym is subject to the following conditions:
- Membership fees must be paid in advance
- Members are responsible for their own health and fitness
- Members must follow all gym rules and safety guidelines
- Membership is non-transferable
- Membership cards/access codes must not be shared
Use of Facilities
When using our facilities, you agree to:
- Use equipment properly and safely
- Return equipment to its proper place after use
- Wipe down equipment after use
- Wear appropriate gym attire and footwear
- Respect other members and staff
- Follow all posted rules and instructions
Health and Safety
By using our facilities, you acknowledge that:
- Physical exercise carries inherent risks
- You are responsible for assessing your own fitness level
- You should consult a doctor before starting any exercise program if you have health concerns
- You will not use the facilities while under the influence of alcohol or drugs
- You will report any injuries or equipment issues to staff
Liability
Hokianga Community Gym (administered by the Manāki Tinana Trust):
- Is not responsible for loss or theft of personal belongings
- Is not liable for injuries sustained while using our facilities, except where caused by our negligence
- Reserves the right to refuse or revoke membership at our discretion
24/7 Access
Members with 24/7 access privileges agree to:
- Secure the facility when leaving during unstaffed hours
- Not allow non-members to enter the facility
- Report any security concerns immediately
- Follow all emergency procedures
Cancellation and Refunds
Membership cancellations and refund requests are subject to our current policies. Please contact us directly to discuss your situation.
Website Use
When using our website, you agree to:
- Provide accurate information
- Not attempt to access restricted areas of the website
- Not use the website for any unlawful purpose
- Not transmit any viruses or harmful code
Intellectual Property
